Tumbledown Gin, the Falkland Islands based luxury brand is gaining a worldwide reputation and has won a prestigious international drinks industry award.

The Gin Guide selected Tumbledown as a finalist in the Traditional Gin (over 42% ABV) category alongside spirits from the UK, Europe, USA and New Zealand. Following blind tasting by an expert judging panel, Tumbledown won a Silver Award.

The high-quality spirit is distilled on the Falkland Islands using fresh local water and native botanicals.

At the heart of the gin is one ingredient in particular: scurvy grass.

Tumbledown is also exported in strictly limited quantities, it’s shipped 8,000 miles by the Royal Navy Fleet Auxiliary to the UK, and is available online at www.falklandislandsspirits.com
